I leave in Brazil and i would like to buy the Garmin 405 HR in NY to have a better price that we can have in here. I’m going to NY in a couple days and i know that there is some sports shop in Mannathan where we can buy some garmin products.

Can you help me to give the phone number of some sports shop in Mananthan which sell the Garmin 405 HR ?

Hi I recently bought the garmin 405 and am quite disapointed because I sweat while I run and it causes the watch to go haywire,probably touches the two electrodes causing the watch to malfunction.Here in South Africa we are marathon junkies and on a hilly course (42.2km) the Garmin was out by 270metres

How does the 405 adjust or approximate the pace when it loses the satellite?

Does it use the last known pace and apply it while it is out of touch with the satellite? Or does it calculate your pace on a reduced total distance?

BTW -
I think the prisons give out the 405, but they use a special ankle version.
