With all the talk of the gear for the Baja 1000, I have been thinking about running gear and a new racing shoe for the Dukes of Flatbush to replace last years model. I think with the Baja 1000 in mind and a lot of Spanish being spoken recently, the leading contender is the Asics Gel Bandito.

This shoe is designed for some serious racing weighing in at a lightweight 7.9oz and with a name like Gel Bandito these shoes have to be awesome. Report to follow after purchase and a few races.
